I have a funny story of when I was little. My dad had a cute little metalic green Ford Maverick. He always parked the car in front of our house. One night a young kid hit the car and totaled it. That night, before the tow truck came to pick the car up, and in front of our neighbors, dad cleaned out his trunk... What was so funny about this you ask? Well, the only thing in his trunk that I can recall, ties. He pulled out one tie at a time and made a comedy show out of it. The act lasted probably 20 minutes long because he was having such a good time. We were laughing so hard we could not believe he had so many ties in his trunk. He'd get done work and take his tie off and throw it in his trunk, I guess. He must have just bought a new tie every day for months. I didn't know one man could have so many ties. I'm sure the old neighbors still remember that because it was too funny to forget. That is why one of the things I'll cherish of my dad's, is having just one of his ties. It will always remind me of one of the funniest times of my childhood. Dalene~
