Brother Dave at Eddie's

The year is 1960. The songs playing on radio station WCAO in Baltimore were: Will You Love Me Tomorrow (The Shirelles), Only the Lonely (Roy Orbison), and Save the Last Dance For Me (The Drifters). And there was my brother Dave working as a stock boy, 16 years old, at Eddie's Supermarket on Fort Smallwood Road in Stoney/Clearwater Beach, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Of course, he was very busy placing all of those products neatly on the grocery store shelves. I stopped in to buy an 8-ounce Coca Cola in the little green thick-glass bottles for 5 cents from the big all-red, round-top soda machine out front, and to say Hi to my big brother. Now it's 2013 and I just wanted to say "Hi" once again. Love always, Your little brother Rick
